Residential Real Estate AgentWith a rich background in creative marketing and advertising, Alejandro Ruelas brings an artistic eye, a passion for perfection and a well-honed instinct for consumer behavior to his role as advisor to the leadership team at The Agency Austin.
A respected entrepreneur in the advertising and finance industries, Alejandro’s expertise will be leveraged to add intellectual capital and further strengthen the services offered by the local team.
In his 30+ years of corporate experience, Alejandro worked on the client and agency sides, first as a marketing executive at Anheuser-Busch, and then as founder of multicultural advertising agency, LatinWorks. For more than two decades, LatinWorks ranked among the top creative agencies in the industry, winning every major award in its category. In 2019, LatinWorks evolved to become THIRD EAR, a forward-facing agency that adeptly aligns with the nuanced evolution of the nation’s mainstream consumer market.

Throughout his career, Alejandro has been active in business and educational endeavors, serving on the Board of Directors at the Economic Policy Institute in Washington, D.C.; as an alternate on the Board of Directors of Grupo Modelo, Mexico’s beer industry leader; and on the Board of The Texas Tribune, the nation's first non-profit and nonpartisan online news organization.
Alejandro is a graduate of California State University, Los Angeles, and holds an MBA from the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, where in 2010 he was honored with the Olin Distinguished Alumni Award.
In his free time, Alejandro enjoys keeping up with cultural and political trends, reading about business, sports and travel, and spending time with his wife and children.
