About Betsy Whalen

Adopted from The Philippines and raised in Avon, Connecticut, Betsy started her professional life by spending two years pursuing her interest in law as a paralegal in her early twenties.

In 2014 she secured an opportunity to work with the prestigious team at Mercedes-Benz in Hartford, Connecticut. Following her heart, she eventually high-tailed it to New York City where she made her name at the Mercedes-Benz factory dealership for North America in Manhattan.

After connecting with several local real estate brokers while at Mercedes-Benz, Betsy felt compelled to apply the skills she honed in the luxury automotive industry and make the leap into Manhattan real estate.

Betsy first identified leading brokers as her mentors, which helped her gain immediate dynamic experience on both sides of the real estate deal and quickly become a force in New York City real estate. She has since dutifully represented developers, landlords, buyers, and sellers, and works tenaciously to refine her craft.

Leveraging her boundless network and impressive professional experience, Betsy takes a personalized and resourceful approach to every transaction. She thrives on integrity and being a strong advocate for her clients, while bringing a special energy and creative perspective to every opportunity.

Betsy spends the majority of her free time deepening her relationships with friends and family. She is a lover of abstract art with talents including painting and sculpting. True to her Mercedes-Benz roots, she loves cars. She is also a passionate foodie and sports fanatic - cheering for New York teams and walking it all off with her kingpin chihuahua, Chapo, in tow!
