Serving the community is a large part of the Zip Code East Bay identity. As Creative Director of ZCEB, I love serving our community through education and involvement. Whether it’s green-living tips, local historical facts, neighborhood parks or information about where your utilities come from, you can be sure that what we create and share will be interesting, useful, and contributing to the improvement of the local community.
When I'm not wearing my Zip Code East Bay hat, I create and publish small editioned artist books that are held in public and private collections under my imprint Liminal Press + Bindery, teach printmaking workshops in the local public schools and art studios, organize with Good Guest Kensington to collaborate with the Lisjan Nation and support the collective work of rematriation, and volunteer with local book arts organizations. And oh yeah, I'm mom to three beautiful children! Previously I served as a professor and director of the book art graduate program at Mills College at Northeastern University, adjunct faculty member at the Corcoran College of Art + Design, and worked in design and communications for boutique firms and non profit organizations. I hold a BA in English/Art History from Boston College, an AFA in Graphic Design and an MA in Art and the Book from the Corcoran College of Art + Design.
