Southern California native Christine Kim brings to The Agency a passion for providing premium service, a track record of success, and invaluable legal expertise. An experienced attorney with degrees from Stanford and Cornell, she understands real estate contracts in all their nuances, from counteroffers to contingencies, and uses her negotiation prowess to tirelessly advocate for and protect the interests of her clients.
Christine grew up in Orange County and has lived in Los Angeles for more than 20 years, giving her comprehensive knowledge of the city and its distinct neighborhoods. A recognized community advocate who was elected to the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council, she is a first-rate resource for clients buying and selling in Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Encino, Hollywood Hills, Laurel Canyon, Beverly Hills, Westwood, Brentwood and Bel Air.
Prior to becoming an agent, Christine spent eight years working at law firms in San Francisco and New York City. In her role as a litigator, she enjoyed serving as a trusted advisor to clients at pivotal moments in their lives. She later realized her passion for real estate, borne of personal experience renovating properties and developing contacts in the industry. “I enjoy learning about people, their lives and their homes, and helping them achieve their goals—whether that is finding the best buyer or best home,” she says. “It’s part art, part science.”
When she’s not balancing her left and right brains by buying and selling real estate, Christine actively volunteers with her children’s schools and in the community. She has served as President of the Family School Alliance and on the Advisory Board of the UCLA Lab School, and as a board member of the Oakwood School’s Parent Teacher Organization. She currently serves as a board member of the non-profit Good Tutors. Her son and daughter attend the Oakwood School and UC Berkeley. An accomplished pianist, she loves to fill her home with music and is married to Larry Goldings, a professional jazz musician and composer.
