About Dana Trotter

New Managing Partner of The Agency Hamptons, Dana Trotter, is widely regarded as one of the nation’s top real estate professionals. In her two decades-long career, Dana has achieved more than $1B in sales in the Hamptons market on the idyllic east end of Long Island. Known for her poise, honesty, and exceptional client service, Dana has earned a place among the top 50 real estate agents in the country in the REALTrends esteemed annual rankings multiple times and annually ranked among the top 10 brokers in the nation at her previous luxury brokerage.

Dana and her experienced team serve clients from Southampton to Amagansett, specializing in the hamlets of Bridgehampton, Sagaponack and Sag Harbor. Dana's portfolio includes high-end residential sales and rentals as well as investment and land opportunities. She has successfully negotiated hundreds of property contracts and continues to work vigorously for buyers and sellers alike.

Raised in the lanes of Amagansett, Dana knows the Hamptons inside and out, and provides her clients with an in-depth understanding of the area’s unique offerings. Prior to entering the world of real estate, Dana earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing and Accounting from CW Post and competed professionally in equestrian events both in New York and Palm Beach.

She has competed in the Hampton Classic since the age of eight, and rides her horse, Balou’s Boy, every chance she gets. A devoted equine advocate, Dana is passionate about sharing the transformative power of horses with others. She is on the boards of the nonprofit Center For Therapeutic Riding on the East End (CTREE) and the Long Island University (LIU) Veterinary School.

Today, Dana resides in Sagaponack with her husband, three kids, two dogs, cat, and flock of chickens. When she isn’t serving clients or riding her horse, Dana can be found taking beach walks with her family or on the boat.
