Fred joins The Agency Los Altos after more than 20 years experience working as an architect and project manager on new development projects. Having lived in Los Altos Hills for close to 30 years, not only does Fred hold a deep understanding of the local market, but he’s committed to delivering exceptional results.
Raised in Tehran, Fred moved to the U.S. to attend Kansas State University and earned his Bachelors in Architectural Engineering and Construction Science. Soon after his degree, he moved to California to begin his career as an architect, working on several notable, large-scale projects such as Mountain View’s City Hall, Fire Stations, Performing Arts Center, Senior and Community Center buildings.
“Real estate—in one way, shape or form—has always captivated me. I love being involved with the community, meeting new people, and engaging in lifelong learning. These interests are why I pursued a career in architecture and where I honed my eye for design,” says Fred. His track record of designing and constructing custom homes and commercial plazas in the Bay Area over the past three decades have armed him with a wealth of knowledge in new development projects, ideal floor plans and regulations across the public and private sector. This experience combined with his strong negotiation skills, loyalty and patience, make Fred an invaluable asset to buyers and sellers seeking the guidance of a true expert.
When it comes to selling homes, Fred has a keen interest in bringing a retired home to life and maximizing the property’s value. His yearly attendance at the International Builders Show and National Association of Home Builders help to incite new ideas, trends and innovations that Fred applies to his work each and every day.
“Real estate is an incredibly unique industry that transcends culture and lifestyles,” says Fred. “I love that I work in an industry with such a personal impact on people’s lives. A home is where one lives, works and enjoys but it can also breed financial security and independence.” This outlook translates directly into Fred’s work each and every day where his personal mantra is “Dream, Set Goals, Design, Transact.” This mantra guides Fred’s holistic approach to business, and life.
Outside of work, Fred is an avid traveler and loves to explore new cities, preferably by attending a live soccer match or two. He is also deeply involved in giving back to the community, donating regularly to Goodwill and volunteering at the Community Services Agency (CSA) of Mountain View. When he’s not dreaming up floor plans for custom homes, he enjoys spending time brainstorming patent ideas with his son, reading and horseback riding.
