James Ward is a bona fide New Yorker, having lived in NYC for over 24 years in Brooklyn, Harlem, and now the Upper West Side. He has a deep understanding of the boroughs, neighborhoods, different cultures, and people of the city. James understands that communication is key and recognizes that every client has different needs. He takes pride in giving his clients excellent service, guiding his clients through the often complicated process of rentals or sales.
Before real estate, James worked as a theater, television, and film actor/producer and as a captain in the high-end catering service industry. These experiences give him the ability to focus on the task at hand while maintaining openness and presence with others. He brings this focus to high-net-worth individuals in some of the most exclusive properties in NYC, Connecticut, and Long Island.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, James graduated from Colgate University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. He then earned a Master of Science in Urban Studies and Public Policy from The University of Buffalo and attended NYC’s Circle in the Square Theater School, where he completed the Professional Acting Conservatory Program. James is kind, energetic, and thoughtful, and has a great sense of humor. He’s a city guy that loves the country. His interests include architecture and urban design, Feng Shui, herbalism, and jazz. Having recently completed his first triathlon, you can find him on his road bike or maybe running in Central Park, or swimming at the gym.
