Meet Jamie

Real Estate Agent

Born in Santa Monica, raised in Sherman Oaks, a former resident of Studio City and current resident of Calabasas, it’s safe to say that Jamie Camp possesses unrivaled command of the Los Angeles market. Her life has been a lesson in the dynamic nature of the city’s real estate, as she witnessed the transformation of various neighborhoods and familiarized herself with the pockets and nooks like only a lifelong Angeleno can. Armed with this local expertise, she has successfully represented buyers and sellers throughout L.A. during her career and joined The Agency in July 2021 to focus on helping clients in the San Fernando Valley, Calabasas and Westlake Village.

An energetic extrovert who is always up for a challenge, Jamie loves working with families, first-time buyers and exacting sellers, often forming lifelong friendships. She listens thoughtfully so that she can not only understand what clients need and want but also empathize with any emotions underlying such a significant transaction. With a passion for the diverse design and architecture of the city, she’s also able to walk into all kinds of homes , from Venice bungalows and Pasadena mid-century moderns to Brentwood Mediterraneans and Valley ranches, and show her clients how to infuse the space with their personal style.

Jamie's ties to real estate run deep. Her family has been involved in the industry since before she was born, her father establishing a group to handle escrow, loans, sales, appraisals and more. While at CSUN, Jamie majored in Speech Communication and for a few years worked as a preschool teacher in Malibu but eventually found she couldn’t resist the lure of a career in real estate. Upon earning her license, she made a natural transition to life as an agent, quickly growing a diverse network and studying the latest market trends.

When she isn’t delighting clients with favorable deals, Jamie spends as much time as she can with her beloved dachshund, Georgie, and in nature, taking advantage of surrounding hiking trails and beaches. On weekends, she volunteers at Big Heart Ranch or takes trips to Paso Robles and Los Olivos to learn about winemaking. An enthusiastic traveler, her passport boasts of adventures all over Europe, Morocco and Egypt, where she’s broadened her architectural knowledge and further deepened her appreciation for L.A. real estate.
