About Jay Ravnikar

An accomplished Los Angeles area agent, Jay Ravnikar brings more than 18 years of real estate experience to The Agency’s Calabasas office. Specializing in Los Angeles and Ventura County real estate with a focus on Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Simi Valley and surrounding areas, Jay brings a strategic approach to buying, selling and investing in real estate.

A fierce advocate for his clients, Jay moved to California in 2001 to pursue a career in the wholesale mortgage banking industry. After more than a decade in real estate finance, he transitioned seamlessly into real estate sales. Leveraging his experience in mortgage lending with his expert negotiating skills and a degree in advertising, Jay serves as a key resource to his clients and understands the complexities of the Los Angeles real estate market from multiple angles. From finding the perfect home for buyers to implementing effective promotion strategies for sellers, Jay’s background has proven to be an invaluable asset to his clients, who readily recommend him long after their transactions have been completed.

Born in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where his father was stationed in the U.S. Military, Jay and his family moved frequently throughout his youth before settling in Florida. A graduate of The University of Florida, when he’s not serving his clients in real estate, Jay enjoys watching Florida Gator football, playing basketball, baseball, poker and listening to electronic music.
