About Lindsay Nelms

A proud native of beautiful San Diego, Lindsay Nelms joins The Agency La Jolla, bringing with her more than five years of experience in the field. Having spent her childhood exploring the city’s various neighborhoods—enjoying the distinct architecture, culture and charm—Lindsay gained an extensive knowledge of the market that allows her to expertly guide clients in buying and selling in North County and beyond.

Having grown up in Valley Center, Lindsay earned her bachelor's in Anthropology from Cal State San Marcos. Prior to real estate, Lindsay worked in the restaurant industry, where she worked her way up from hostess to manager, ultimately leading a team to open several new restaurant locations across the city. While working in the restaurant industry, Lindsay honed her people skills; building relationships and communicating with others were aspects of the job she excelled at and deeply enjoyed.

With a smile on her face, Lindsay delivers luxury, white-glove service, striving to make the home buying and selling experience fun, engaging and exciting. “I love that I’m part of someone’s life journey in this major way,” says Lindsay. “Real estate offers the rare opportunity to build one’s wealth. Fueled by a passion for interior design and architecture, Lindsay enjoys guiding her clients through the artistic elements of the home buying and selling process. In her free time, Lindsay can be found spending time with her cat, Tuna, and exploring all San Diego has to offer. Whether it’s vintage shopping for furniture and unique pieces to fill her home, seeking out trendy, new coffee shops to people watch or staying active with a pilates or yoga class. She also co-founded an event-planning business with her cousin called Alpaca Productions. Together they specialize in picnic events for birthdays, bridal showers and baby showers.
