Lucy Kollin was born and raised in Northeast China. After Lucy attended Beijing Foreign Studies University, Lucy went on to work in the tourism industry for 4 years. After that, she joined AquaFina Gardens International in Sylvan Lake, MI as the purchasing agent in China. Lucy then became the regional purchasing manager for Stone Details, a material import company based in Troy, MI. Lucy was consistently in the top 5% of producers because of her perseverance and outgoing personality. At the age of 25, She bought her first apartment in China and for the past 20 years, she has been an avid real estate investor. Lucy’s broad background in business and finance is a great asset in her Real Estate business. She graduated with a BA degree in Accounting from Walsh College in 2021 and advises her clients and help them analyze the potential returns from real estate investments.
Lucy moved to the United States in 2000, and is now married with 3 teenage children. Lucy is always excited to share her love for Michigan with newcomers to the area and help them become acclimated to their surroundings. When Lucy is not helping her clients find their next dream home, she is very active in the Chinese Community and co-founder of a non-profit organization, Michigan Youth Empowerment Foundation. The group focuses on helping girls and underprivileged children learn STEM skills.
Lucy loves the real estate business as it is a project based industry and you learn something new with each project. Lucy said, “The people that you meet are fascinating and I get to use the skills working with such diverse cultures that I learned in my previous positions”.
