About Lyn Kennedy

Lyn Kennedy is a Realtor® with The Agency Birmingham, representing Buyers and Sellers throughout the Metro Detroit area.

A proud University of Michigan graduate, Lyn spent the early years of her career working in media sales and marketing within the luxury brand team at American Express Publishing.  It was there where she developed proficiencies in active listening, data-driven analysis, and skillful negotiation that have empowered her to seamlessly transition to a successful real estate career. She has built a solid foundation of business within the community by approaching every client interaction with preparation, empathy, patience and a little humor.

Lyn grew up in Farmington Hills, but has spent much of her adult life living in the Birmingham area.  She loved raising her son and daughter there, spending as much time as possible involved with their school and travel sports.  She is now happily settled into Birmingham’s Rail District and enjoys the front row seat she has to watching the neighborhood evolve and thrive.

In her spare time, Lyn is never too far away from a tennis court.  She competes regularly in several women’s and mixed double leagues across town. In addition to being an avid sports fan, she also enjoys discovering the latest foodie hot spots and shopping destinations in and around Southeastern Michigan. Whenever possible, she spends time traveling to watch her daughter compete across the country for the Michigan State Women’s Golf team.
