About Mike Hearne

Mike Hearne is a former college golfer and creator of This is Oklahoma. This is Oklahoma is a podcast and social media brand which tells stories of Oklahomans and those who’ve made this great state home. Mike was born in Bridgend, Wales. Moved to Oklahoma in August 2011 to play golf and study Marketing at Southern Nazarene University. He graduated in May 2015 passed his real estate exam and became a realtor. Mike created This is Oklahoma in July of 2017 and launched his podcast in May 2018. He has shared over 600 stories on his podcast and continues to spread the love about Oklahoma. This is Oklahoma has built its brand partnering with some of Oklahomans biggest brands. The Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Chickasaw Nation, Oklahoma Beef Council, Diffee Ford Lincoln, Citizens Bank of Edmond and 988 to name a few. Mike is 33 years old, lives in Yukon with his two doodles Seve & Greggs.
