About Misha Ford

A California native, Misha has been a licensed agent since 1994 and broker since 2008, serving buyers and sellers throughout California. With an extensive background in real estate finance and law, he brings his creative problem-solving skills and passion for helping others to The Agency.

 

Born and raised in Montecito, Misha earned his B.S. in Business Economics from University of California Santa Barbara before pursuing his law degree at Santa Barbara College of Law. His true passion, however, was in real estate, where he pursued a career in mortgage lending and other creative forms of real estate finance. Prior to joining The Agency, Misha worked for Credit Union Servicing Mortgage Company (CUSO) and was vice president of lending for the Royal Bank of Canada’s U.S. mortgage division, during which he officiated hundreds of mortgages across the country.

 

Leveraging his background in law and finance with his expert negotiating skills, Misha has earned the loyalty of a diverse clientele that value his honesty and integrity through every step of a transaction.

Now residing in Malibu with his wife and kids, when he’s not working on behalf of his clients, Misha enjoys surfing, free-diving, snowboarding, yoga, hiking, the beach, and—most importantly—spending time with his family.
