About Rebecca Barritt

Rebecca believes finding the right home isn’t simply about shelter – it reflects and shapes the story of your life. Rebecca began her education and career in Social Work, where she learned to deeply understand diverse people’s needs, dreams, and constraints – working collaboratively to find ways forward towards their goals. She knows that people and families have a deep-seated need to feel at home: to love where they live and to sense a good “fit” with their surroundings, whether that means walkability, walk-in closets, or wide-open spaces on all sides.

Hailing from picturesque Rossland, BC, Rebecca put down roots in Victoria in 2001. She now lives happily with her two children and husband. Although she has been mostly stuck indoors like the rest of the world, Rebecca has been run off her feet doing many of the things she has always loved – looking after her babies, working, running, brushing up on her classical piano skills and sitting in her new favourite corner of the house, drinking coffee and enjoying her garden.

It’s a time of complex emotions, full of question after question, worry, hopefulness, gratitude, uncertainty, wine and chocolate cake—or burgers and beer, as the case may be. Rebecca, along with her Briggs & Stratton and Associates Team, is still busy at work. As essential service workers, they are rising to the challenge and carrying out their business safely. Life has not stopped, and many need to continue with a real estate sale or purchase. This non-stop team is still here for whatever you may need to help you navigate this confusing time.
