About Shae Zamardi

Shae brings a history of drive and dedication, both in her professional and personal life. With a full-ride scholarship to Louisiana State University, Shae competed in gymnastics at a national level to earn her place on the 2012 Olympic shortlist and claim an NCAA All American title. These athletic achievements were balanced with her academic accomplishments. Shae holds a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a Minor in Business.

Shae was selected for her gymnastic talent to perform in Cirque Du Soleil, a travelling entertainment show specializing in live acrobatic performances. She spent her time performing in countries across the world, developing an appreciation for diversity and a strong sense of cultural sensitivity. Shae has also worked in social media management and marketing where she learned key communication strategies and honed her marketing skills.

Life brought Shae back to her hometown of Victoria, British Columbia. After years spent travelling, competing, and performing, Shae understands the importance and value of home. She recognizes what a home means: a place and a feeling. Shae spent her childhood living across the South Island in Sooke, the Highlands, Colwood, Bear Mountain, and Metchosin as her parents dabbled in property flips and investment properties. She brings a strong, personal knowledge of the area and a passion for its west coast beauty.

Shae volunteers her time coaching gymnastics and working closely with the Indigenous Perspectives Society, as she continues to maintain a healthy, disciplined lifestyle while maintaining her Mohawk culture. She enjoys teaching spin, travelling and spending her time in the outdoors.
