About Steve Garrett

A native Angelino, Steve Garrett brings his creative talents, local knowledge and marketing expertise to The Agency team. Born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley, he attended Notre Dame High School and CSUN, before moving to the beach cities of West Los Angeles. Steve returned to Sherman Oaks to raise his two children while they attended Oakwood Schools in North Hollywood.

Representing residential and commercial buyers, sellers, investors and renters across the region, Steve is a creative problem-solver who is adept at navigating the transaction process to ensure the best results for all involved. Steve says he serves as businessman, guide and friend to his real estate clients.

Prior to his career in real estate, Steve tried his hand at acting before finding himself behind the camera as a producer and director. He founded Always Moving Pictures, Inc., a full-service production company, which he successfully ran for over 20 years. During that time, Steve joined family and friends purchasing, managing and selling investment properties and single-family homes. He later attained his real estate license, transitioning to the industry full time.

When not touring real estate with his clients, Steve is an avid Triathlete who has completed over 40 triathlons. He discovered his love for the sport at the age of 50 after his children left for college, a solution he says he found for the empty-nest syndrome. So far, Steve has completed six half-Ironman races and four full-distance Ironman races.
