Having grown up in Boulder and graduated from Boulder High and the University of Colorado at Boulder, Tom’s Colorado roots run deep! For over 45 years in Boulder and Boulder County, Tom has been a steadfast member of the community. He has spent over 35 years coaching youth sports, including North Boulder Little League, high school baseball, girls softball, and girls club soccer. He is also a musician, formerly with Boulder’s own Wayfarers a cappella group, and has performed in front of thousands at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Winter Park Jazz Festival, and American Music Festival. Lastly, he was a childhood cast member in two productions at Boulder’s Dinner Theater.
After graduating with a B.A. in Political Science from CU, Tom started his professional career as a fundraiser for the University of Colorado, and was later appointed as Executive Director at CU’s Center of the American West. Having served at CU for almost a dozen years, he obtained his real estate license and soon embarked on a new career in real estate. For well over 20 years, Tom has been a well-respected broker in a highly competitive local real estate community.
Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to The Agency Boulder team. As a longtime Executive Broker at Walnut Realty and RE/MAX Alliance on Walnut, Tom has seen it all. His extensive sales experience spans residential, investment, vacant land, new construction, remodel/flips, and commercial real estate, and is an invaluable asset to the Agency Boulder family. In addition, Tom offers several specialties including luxury real estate sales, estate sales, and Senior Home Transition and Concierge Services for those downsizing and moving in their retirement years. Tom’s broad knowledge of the Front Range real estate market – from the Denver metro area north to Fort Collins, and from the Continental Divide to the Eastern Plains communities – has allowed him to serve his clients’ needs all along the Front Range and beyond!
Tom loves to spend his free time with his wife and four children, enjoying fine and not-so-fine dining, traveling, and whatever else sounds fun! Having recently reignited his passion for golf, when he is not selling real estate, you will find Tom on the golf course trying desperately to keep his handicap lower than the age of his oldest child!
