About Yolanda DeGarcia

A dominant force in the Southern California market for more than 25 years, Yolanda De Garcia brings a wealth of local market knowledge and experience to her role at The Agency Pasadena. A Los Angeles native, Yolanda prides herself on being an effective negotiator with a strong work ethic.

Whether she’s helping families with short sales or trust sales, Yolanda brings a tailored, client-focused approach to every relationship. “Simply put, I love helping others,” says Yolanda. “Nothing excites me more than meeting new people with diverse backgrounds and embarking with them on their buying and selling journey. In my opinion, practicing real estate is more of a privilege than a profession.”

Yolanda’s local market expertise coupled with her keen eye for interior design has led her to receive several awards including Pasadena Magazine’s “2010 Women of Influence” award from Ed Reyes City Council and an award from Senator Carol Liu for community service.

After growing up in Glendale, Yolanda attended culinary school and graduated from Le Cordon Bleu. She went on to own several restaurants across SoCal while advocating for outside dining in the city of Pasadena. This love of hospitality extends internationally for Yolanda; she owns two boutique hotels in the charming city of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. These endeavors give her an excuse to visit her favorite city several times a year.

Yolanda is also involved with a non-profit organization, The Whole Child, which assists families in need of housing and mental health services. She is also a former Board Member of the ASC AIDS Service Center of Pasadena, as well as a certified HIV counselor and tester. In this capacity, she has spearheaded multiple programs designed to raise funds and awareness of HIV.
