Home Inspector
My name is Charlie and I am the owner of Chicagoland Home Inspectors, Inc. Choosing the best home inspector for your family is the most important decision that you will make during this process. And if your agent referred you to us, give them a big thank you, because they put your interest above all else.
We at Chicagoland Home Inspectors made a business decision to make ourselves unique and focus solely on homebuyers' wants and desires. We did a focus group and found out that homebuyers want to know as much as possible so they can decide what they wish to accept, and not accept. Here is the list of what makes us unique.
We focus on the house and the client only during our inspections. We do not write the report onsite. You will be our only focus for that entire day. Other inspectors will do two or three inspections in a day documenting only items that catch their attention as they move through the house while writing the report. The faster you go, the more you miss.
Thermal imagers, drones, moisture meters, and combustion analyzers are used on every inspection to properly document and prove our findings. It takes time to use these tools and perform these types of tests on the systems and components in a home. But using them allows us to prove the systems are working properly, or it allows us to prove there is a problem. Our inspectors are so knowledgeable, that we will defend our findings with facts from manufacturers' installation instructions, codes, and other legitimate sources to any contractor who tries to dispute our findings. Most contractors do not have the equipment that we carry. Or they don’t know how to use them.
I personally offer a Google Meet consultation with every one of our clients to go over the report, discuss the findings, and put things into perspective. I cannot stress enough how important it is that you understand the actual condition of the systems and components, along with the estimated cost to cure those issues so you can make an informed decision.
“One Stop Shopping” has become the norm in today's world. We have the staff to be able to not only inspect the property, but also provide radon, chimney scans, pool inspections, irrigation systems, termites, mold, asbestos, and lead. We even offer an option for our clients to pay at closing. No other company uses the technically exhaustive equipment that we use, provides the services that we do, and has the reputation that we do.
We also offer a $50.00 discount that you take when you are placing the order. We call it our photo upload discount. We ask that every client take a photo of our inspector and post that photo to our Google, Yelp, or Facebook business pages. Think about that for a moment. Angry customers are more likely to leave a negative review. We are bringing this to your attention before you even choose to work with us. We are that confident in our people, our professionalism, our systems, and our reports that we make ourselves this vulnerable. We have the confidence to do this because we go way beyond what is expected.
We pride ourselves on doing more, documenting more, communicating more, and consistently exceeding our client’s expectations.
If you are still looking at houses, please accept this offer. If you see something while looking at a home, snap a photo of it and text it to me. Then we can talk on the phone and usually, I can tell you what is going on. I do not charge for this service. I don’t care if you choose us or not. I just believe in this profession and I want every homebuyer to be protected from buying a home with more issues than they expected.
Please feel free to reach out and get to know me. Hopefully, you will like me and eventually trust me.
