You might say Debbi DiMaggio grew up in the real estate industry. Her father was a syndicator and Realtor®, and coming of age, she had an opportunity to learn the business from him. Later on, she started a rental firm in San Francisco with her husband, Adam Betta, and the two realized that real estate was a perfect compliment for their entrepreneurial spirit. And in 2009 during the economic downturn started Highland Partners with their longtime friend and colleague, Heidi Marchesotti. This dynamic duo wear many hats. Today, Adam and Debbi along with their son Chase head up their team, the DiMaggio Betta Group. Adam is also the Managing Broker, and Debbi, the Marketing Director at Corcoran Icon Properties, Piedmont and Montclair offices, where together along with their partners oversee over 80 agents while assisting their clients looking to buy, sell, invest or lease throughout the East Bay Area.

Specializing in luxury listings, they have authored an accomplished, thirty plus year career in the industry, ranking among the top producers in their region. When listing a property, Debbi and Adam empower their clients via a comprehensive approach. Starting out, they provide a suite of services to ready each home for the market, from renovations to staging and professional photography. Once the property has been fully modernized, Debbi leverages her acute knowledge of digital marketing to broadcast her listings over a wealth of targeted social media campaigns and third party websites. Never settling, though, she also markets to her sphere and over notable publications like Dirt Magazine, Unique Homes and Haute Residence.

Along the way, Debbi and Adam are also light on their feet, keeping matters stress free with their distinct balance of talents. “When you work with Adam and me, you get two different people with very different skill sets,” she says. “While I love marketing, creativity, and design, Adam is tremendously financially savvy and knowledgeable of the market. We both bring thirty years of unique experience to the table.”

Elsewhere, Debbi and Adam are just as supportive when assisting their buyers, leaning on their combined expertise to guide clients to the right property for their best interests. Over the years, they have earned a fantastic reputation, with the vast majority of their volume coming from past clients, agent referrals, and voices within their community. Through it all, though, Debbi remains focused on what matters most: the client experience. “In real estate, we do the same thing differently every day,” her partner Adam always says. “You never know what’s going to happen.” Debbi adds, “And no matter what, we love the process of helping each client and meeting their individual needs.”

Outside their careers, Debbi and Adam are tremendously active within their community. On top of supporting UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, Children’s Support League, East Bay Agency for Children, George Mark Children’s House, Project Pop Drop for the homeless, Mona Foundation, and Voices4Freedom, they also volunteer and contribute to build days for GiveBack Homes, a nonprofit organization created through Habitat for Humanity that constructs homes for families in need. When they’re not with clients or giving back, they can be found skiing, traveling around the world, or spending quality time with their children.

Debbi has a bold vision for the future at Corcoran. As her volume maintains its steady growth, she intends on launching her business into Beverly Hills and the surrounding LA area. Also a passionate mentor, she is deepening her work with life coaching aspiring real estate professionals and solopreneurs. Debbi leaves us with the importance of teamwork. She cannot emphasize enough to those she mentors and connects with, “agents are not competitors; we are colleagues." Debbi encourages Realtors® around the globe to reach out to her and Adam because they are always growing and maintaining their referral partnership network, and continually searching for compatible Realtors® who share the same passion, energy and drive to care for their clients in the same way they do.

Hobbies + Passion Projects: Adam is passionate about skiing and golf and together they enjoy spending time traveling with their children Bianca and Chase. Debbi is, and has been involved in a variety of charity organizations for over three decades and enjoys writing and sharing with others so that they can improve their own business, whether as a past columnist for Inman, the Examiner, or currently, through her Blogs, or as a public speaker, Debbi openly shares Real Estate advice through her personal stories. Her work has also been featured by Luxury Real Estate, KGO 810 Consumer Talk Radio Show with Michael Finney, KDOW 1220 AM Real Estate Radio Live with Joe Cucchiara, East Bay News, Oakland Magazine, Unique Homes Magazine, Dirt, Unique Homes, Haute Residence and on KRON4 TV. Debbi is always happy to educate her fellow colleagues, as she routinely presents her expertise as a panelist on the topics of Luxury Real Estate, Branding and Growing Your Own Business at various conferences.

Debbi uses her Real Estate successes, client services and nurturing passions to make a difference. As an active philanthropist, Debbi supports multiple worthwhile local organizations, charities and causes from the Bay Area to LA and as far away as Italy, India and Kenya.
