Ghirardelli Mansion Hits the Market in Piedmont

The Piedmont mansion of chocolatier Gieseppe “Joseph” Ghirardelli is on the market, with Giveback Homes Members Debbi DiMaggio and Adam Betta as the listing agents.

This 7 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom home was originally built in 1906-1907 for the Ghirardelli family and keeps with tastes of that period with box beam ceilings, an arched dining room ceiling, dark chocolatey wood paneling, and more. The kitchen and bathrooms are thouroughly upgraded, and this 105 year old home is listed for $5.3 million. The home last sold in 2012 for $4.5 Million.

Naturally we had some very important questions to ask Debbi...

Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or white chocolate?

Debbi: Milk!

Sweet or savory?

Debbi: Sweet!

Favorite Ghirardelli treat?

Debbi: Caramel

Favorite occasion to buy chocolate?

Debbi: As a token of appreciation anytime!

Favorite room in the Chocolate Mansion?

Debbi: The library - how funny, it's actually has caramel colored bookshelves!
