The Parkite #forsocialgood

Born and raised in Southern California, it’s an exciting thing to get bundled up and visit cold weather cities. So you can imagine how thrilled I was when our friends at Engel & Voelkers, Lindsay Clark and Paul Benson, invited us to Park City. They not only gave us the opportunity to stay at The Parkite (PC's finest luxury condo development) they also decided to host a fundraising mixer to help build a home for a family in Nicaragua... The best!

At the Parkite, I was greeted by Lindsay Clark and Mark Sletten, who gave me a grand tour of the development, including the penthouse, the rooftop, and provided me with a list of local spots for eats and drinks.

Here's a taste of the penthouse: 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 2 of the comfiest bean bags I've ever plopped into, and 3,624 sq. ft. of pure bliss.

The 4,000 square feet of outdoor living space includes a private lawn with enough space to host a large group yoga session (which they've done before) #namasteontherooftop:

While brief, the visit was jam-packed. Here’s what we did:

Sunday - Hiking in Deer Valley – lots of fun trails here, and just enough to get you hungry for a cold beer and sushi at Flying Sumo (delicious!)

Monday - I spent the entire day working from unit twenty one of The Parkite – Wifi, coffee, relaxing fire, and bottomless bowls of cereal. I didn’t leave until it was time for dinner at Grappa, just down the street (also delicious). Here's a peek inside unit twenty one: 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1,751 sq. ft.

Tuesday AM – Woke up bright and early for the E&V office meeting. They have an incredible group of people there and it was an honor to share the Giveback homes story with them.

Tuesday PM – Getting ready for the fundraising mixer, which was a HUGE success!

  • Interior design by: Alder & Tweed and Dressed Design
  • The finest bites provided by: Chef Johnathan Miller, the executive Chef at the Erickson Lodge, Chef Kati Monti of Sweet & Salty, & Chef Billy Fitzgerald
  • Smoked old fashions served by: Top Shelf
  • Prizes were donated and bid on using the Concierge Auctions instant gavel app
  • The event sprawled across three different units, all managed by Utopian Luxury Vacation Homes

Huge thanks to all of these fine folks for collaborating and celebrating #forsocialgood!

Wednesday AM –  The sun was shining and the air was crisp, so I went for a run through town, where I fell in love with this perfect little purple home. Anyone know the owner? Then back to pack my by bags and say farewell to The Parkite : (

If you’re headed to Park City this season, you can rent a unit at The Parkite for your visit, or buy and stay for as long as your heart desires. With each sale, the Engel & Voelkers team will make a contribution to help build a home for a family in need.

Thank you Park City! I can't wait to come back!
