We’re teaming up with Airbnb’s Open Homes program to support Hurricane Dorian evacuees
Do you need emergency housing? Or can you host community members in need of temporary housing? Airbnb's Open Homes Program lets homeowners offer their space for free to people going through a difficult time.
How it works
Airbnb Hosts within the affected disaster areas have the ability to opt into listing their homes for $0. Hosts are in control of how often they wish to open their homes and how long guests stay. All the same protections apply for our generous hosts who are offering their homes for free in times of disaster.
Get involved
Right now you can offer your home up in the Bahamas or in the U.S. to those impacted by Hurricane Dorian. You can also help others find housing. Community members are providing free accommodations through Airbnb’s Open Homes program to those impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
Airbnb Open Homes hosts provide free, temporary housing to those displaced, during or after a disaster. Airbnb activates its community of hosts to aid governmental and non-governmental efforts to find temporary accommodation for those in urgent need. Local community members unimpacted by the disaster can also offer their spare rooms or homes to people in need.

Join other local hosts opening their homes to Hurricane Dorian evacuees
Because so many people need accommodations, we’re looking for more people who can join the Open Homes host community through September 16th, 2019. All you need to create a listing is a room and a bed. We’ll walk you through the process.
