Member Spotlight: Paul Cruz
Paul Cruz of Keller Williams Realty shares his story in the latest Giveback Homes member spotlight, including why he joined Giveback Homes and how technology has been a game changer in his business:
Why did you join Giveback Homes? I wanted to be involved in a charitable cause that was close to home. Being a Realtor, homes are my business, it made perfect sense to become involved in this mission.
What’s the proudest moment in your career so far? I started in real estate at the end of 2007. The market tanked. It was sink or swim. My proudest moment was in becoming a very good swimmer, so that now I am able to start giving back.
What’s your favorite memory from moving in to your first home? My favorite memory is the hard work that led up to that first purchase. It always seems impossible until you accept the challenge of making it reality.
How has the real estate profession evolved in the last 5 years? Technology has been a huge game changer. You do not need a real estate agent for what’s online. Our value lies in continued education, creativity, negotiation and the strong strategic alliances we form to get the deal done.
How has your involvement with Giveback Homes changed the way you personally do business? I’ve always been service driven but Giveback Homes gives me a greater purpose to achieve something much bigger than me for the greater good.
If you could give one piece of advice to people looking to move into their own home, what would it be? Yes you can
Paul also recently joined us on first national build day with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles. Thank you Paul! Find out more about Paul Cruz, here.
