Thanks to a generous donation from The Mazzo Group, Verania and her family in Nicaragua now have a safe place to call home. This is the 15th home made possible by The Mazzo Group.
Together, Verania and her husband have two girls, Maria (8) and Julia (5) and they live in a structure made of rusted metal sheets with dirt floors. Verania stays home to take care of their girls while her husband works as a welder in a nearby shop. Verania also loves to grow fruits and vegetables on their land. The weak structure of their current home makes it dangerous during the rainy season. “In the midst of everything, we do not lose faith, we dream of having a beautiful home for our daughters,” said Verania.
